Bent Penny is a music service brokerage firm based in Toronto, Canada. We specialize in both commercial and campus radio promotion, media relations/publicity, and artist development.

Founder Julian "JT" Taylor is a successful independent artist himself and provides a unique perspective that only comes from years of performing and touring. Julian and our team of specialists work directly with artists and management to analyze and strategically position their music in the marketplace.

DMDS delivers broadcast-quality music along with related support material directly to media outlets anywhere -- quickly, securely, and inexpensively. Digital distribution costs about half the price of traditional mailing of physical product and offers many advantages to both artists and radio stations.

Bent Penny has state-of-the-art resources to track all projects at both the broadcast and sales level. We are proud to offer our clients full airplay tracking reports and analysis in real time using the industry's benchmark airplay monitor, Mediabase. We also provide weekly retail and download sales data via Soundscan.
